Granger House Museum is owned and maintained by Marion Historical Museum, Inc., a non-profit corporation organized in 1973 for the purpose of restoring this home and its brick carriage house. The museum opened to the public on July 4, 1976, as part of Marion's celebration of the Bicentennial of the United States. The home of the Granger family for over a century, the house has been restored to its appearance in the late 1870s.
