Membership Information

Granger House Museum maintains an active schedule of programming for adults and children. Guided tours, cultural programs and special children's' events are regularly offered. Group tours can be arranged. Each year, Granger House is festooned with traditional decorations during the Christmas season. Granger House can be rented for private parties, meetings, photo opportunities and Christmas events. For more information on any events, or to schedule private parties, please contact Carolyn Parks, Coordinator.

Public Tours

Granger House has been beautifully decorated by volunteer members of the Marion Historical Society. Tour costs are $3 for adults, $1 for youth, and free for members.

The house will be open on Saturday and Sunday, December 10-11 and December 17-18; and Friday and Saturday, December 30-31 from 1 to 5 p.m. 

Dec. 10 - public tours from 1 to 5 p.m.

Dec. 11 - public tours from 1 to 5 p.m. A "Sing-Along" will be held with the Sweet Adelines on this date. Piano played by Marilyn Cartsens of Marion and refreshments will be served. 

Dec. 17 - public tours from 1 to 5 p.m.

Dec. 18 - public tours from 1 to 5 p.m. A Holiday Tea with Christmas readings by Howard Parks and Christmas memories of the Grangers and their times by Joyce Parks will be held. Marilyn Cartsens will be playing piano selections and Mikala and Annie (Linn-Mar High School Juniors) provide songs of the season on flute and violin. 

Dec. 30 - public tours from 1 to 5 p.m.

Dec. 31 - public tours from 1 to 5 p.m.

Private Tours and Group Tours
